The X800 does not come with a lot of advance features, but it is nicely equipped for the average photographer. The point here is that almost half of its body is only 10 mm thick, which is slimmer than the iPhone!

Voigtlaender join the CES pre-show with a very boring camera called the Vitoret 73. While the technology is average, the look is a flop waiting to happen.

Sony gave 2008 an early start with its introduction of the upcoming Cyber-shot S730 digital camera. The design of the camera is very average and nothing to drool over for. And the features are pretty standard too.
