Sigma introduced the DP1 camera which is there new groundbreaking product. The press release said that they used a technology that utilize “three silicon embedded layers of photo sensors stacked to take advantage of silicon’s ability to absorb red, green and blue light at different respective depths.”

I am not sure how much the DP1 will cost or when it will be available.
