Sony Ericsson finally add a cell phone to its line up that flips open horizontally and vertically, like Samsung and Nokia. However, the double hinge on the W44S is pretty obvious, unlike its competitor.
As for features, there is not a lot known as of yet, but the screen looks pretty bright, there will be about 115MB of built-in memory, expandable memory slot, a nice 3.2 megapixel camera which does pictures and videos.
Overall, this cell phone is neat sounding, but looks ugly. If they can hide the hinge and make it thinner, than it would be another story. There are no words on when the W44S will be available, but I am in no hurry for it.
