UTStarcom GPRS1228
 Here is another company joining the slim trend. Not to be out-done by Motorola and Samsung, UTStarcom is prepping a new handset called the GPRS1228 that will rival the thin competition.The candy-bar style phone looks to be about the thickness of Motorola's SLVR, though its exact dimensions are not available. Here are some features of the GPRS1228: - microSD card slot - VGA camera - Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900) - Music player - KTV player (karaoke) While the GPRS1228 has gained FCC approval, it will not likely show up in the US because UTStarcom does not have a presence with GSM carriers in the US it's not likely to be picked up here.
