Sidekick 3 Magnet
 Among the many features of the new T-Mobile Sidekick 3 is this one hidden talent. The ability to render your credit card useless! The Sidekick 3’s swivel screen is held in place by a strong magnet.This is proven with this picture on the right. It shows a fork being help up by the Sidekick 3, and to note that the magnet is even more powerful when the Sidekick 3 is opened up. The reason for the magnet, I guessed, is to allow it to do the cool trick with the closing of the mid-flap that is the Sidekick's signature move. Now this lead to the next idea, how would this effect you as the consumer? Doing cool tricks with your Sidekick 3 at the lunch table in your school? Well no, where do people carry their Sidekick 3? In their purse or pockets, and where do people carry their credit cards? Now you get the idea. But it is more than credit cards, work badges, drivers' licenses and anything else with a magnetic data strip on the back. After exposing the magnetic strip of a credit card to the Sidekick 3, it was no longer usable. The terminals that we usually swipe our cards through to buy stuff no longer recognize the piece of plastic as money! it through the terminal again.
