 Refocusing on thin candy-bar cell phones, Motorola announced the MOTOFONE, Motorola's thinnest phone yet. Measuring approximately 9 mm thin, MOTOFONE put a new twist on the common design.The user interface of the MOTOFONE offers something new and intuitive, built on icons and voice versus text. By using images, the device makes it simpler and friendlier for first-time users to navigate, place a call, and retrieve messages. Its large, high contrast screen, powered by our revolutionary ClearVision display, helps eliminate glare from direct sunlight, making it easier to use the phone outdoors. The MOTOFONE makes it easy for new cell phone users, with voice prompt instructions in local languages, a large readable font size and an icon-based menu, the handset is self-explanatory at every step. For pre-paid customers, the MOTOFONE automatically reports the status of their pre-paid account after each call or message, allowing consumers to stay in control of use and expense. This sleek and thing phone includes polyphonic ringtones, speakerphone and long-lasting battery life. In addition, the device includes a powerful volume to help ensure callers can hear phone conversations and will not miss calls even in a busy marketplace or crowded street.
