Microsoft FonePlus
 Microsoft wants to take the smartphones to the next level, a computer that can call people. The device is named the "FonePlus". To create the computer, Microsoft combined its Windows CE operating system with a phone that could then be connected to a television display and a keyboard.FonePlus is a blend of phones and televisions that are pervasive even in some of the world's poorest regions, making the product an easy sell. Also, Internet access is part and parcel with the phone, something OLPC doesn't provide out of the box. Whether FonePlus will actually go into production and ultimately into the market is unknown, but at least we know what Microsoft is thinking. Beyond its effort to make computer-phones, Microsoft also has its pay-as-you-go FlexGo program for emerging countries.
