Motorola W Series

As the slim RAZR and SLVR becomes more complicated and features-filled, Motorola prepares to launch the W series, which have the cool fashion looks of slim phones and the simplicity of just a phone at a affordable price. All are expected to be out by second half of 2006, which should be now or soon!

Here are the descriptions straight from the horse's mouth:

W375 (Pictured, left)
The W375 combines strikingly svelte design and a splash of colourful self-expression with an integrated VGA camera, speakerphone functionality, mobile USB, FM radio and MP3 ring tones to help users express their individuality. The W375 shares the intuitive external display of the W220 and supports SMS and MMS messaging. The W375 provides a sense of individuality with its palette of three iconic colours: Cannon Gray, Lustrous Silver & Mandarin Orange. The W375 is 45 x 99 x 18.6mm with 1.5Mb user memory. This tri-band handset features a 128 x 160 TFT screen with up to 450 minutes of talk time and up to 250 hours of stand-by.

W208
Motorola's colour initiative offering contrasting schemes in new and unique colours continues with the W208, which is available in Fire Red/Black Slate and Silver Sail/ Black Slate. The handset is less than 15mm thick and features a stereo FM radio, alarm clock/stop watch, currency converter/calculator, 200 entry internal phone book, office quality speakerphone, zoom font, 3 pre-loaded games, and 32 channel polyphonic ring tones.

W210 (Pictured, right)
The W210 combines versatility and style with robust features to create a stunning new handset in the CDMA portfolio. With a striking two tone appearance and colourful wallpaper options, the W210 extends Motorola’s design philosophy across the MOTOMOBILE platform. The handset has a built in stereo FM radio offering real-time access to information and entertainment on the move The W210 also comes with Motorola's Lantern feature for illumination at night or in dark environments.

W170
The W170 further extends the CDMA porfolio. Measuring a slender 14.6mm thick, the W170 features FM radio, 32 level polyphonic sound, up to 500 phonebook entries, SMS and an office quality speakerphone.
