 Wanting to be known as the pioneer of this new entertainment, Las Vegas Sands Corp., owner of The Venetian, said they planned to be the first to introduce real gambling on mobile devices.Coming this year blackjack, roulette, video poker and slots will be aviable on mobile devices like phones from Cantor Gaming, an affiliate of the financial services company Cantor Fitzgerald. With the long-term agreement between Cantor Gaming and Las Vegas Sands Corp. mobile gaming services will be at the Venetian and the currently under-construction Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino, making it the exclusive provider of mobile gaming services to Las Vegas Sands properties in Nevada. After legality issues and the Assembly Bill 471 signed into law in June 2005, Cantor became the first company licensed by the Nevada Gaming Commission as a manufacturer, distributor, and operator of a mobile gaming system. The bill permits wireless gaming on hand-held, mobile devices in public areas of a resort casino, such as restaurants, nightclubs and pool side.
