 With all the phones becoming media centers today, BlackBerry did not want to stay behind. So Sona Mobile is launching a BlackBerry Media Player next month.The software application is designed to offer “multimedia applications on newer BlackBerry devices,” but this is more than just an MP3 player. Instead, Sona is saying that you will be able to use their solution to enjoy “near TV quality playback of synchronized video and audio files.” Essentially, you can start to receive podcasts (or what they’re calling “BerryCasts”) on your RIM device starting with Sona’s first partner, CanWest Global.
