New Service Amp'd Mobile
 Amp'd Mobile is now taking orders for its phones and service on its web site.As of right now the company is offering just one phone - the black Kyocera Jet, but soon to follow a white version of Jet called the Angel, and a Motorola phone called Hollywood, based on the E815. Monthly plans range from $30 for 250 voice minutes to $100 for 2000 minutes. All plans include unlimited weekends and nights starting at 9PM. There are no mobile-to-mobile meaning calls to other Amp'd users deduct from minutes, but become unlimited once all minutes are used. Push-To-Talk, data, and messaging all cost extra. A special $200/month plan includes unlimited everything, plus a free phone. Amp'd uses Verizon's CDMA EV-DO network to offer streaming and downloadable content for the youth and young adult markets.
