Apple has applied for a patent of a device that has dual touch-screen that flips open. The internet has been saying that an iPhone 2.0 is already in the making, it is just an upgraded version of the current iPhone. So this device could be the iPhone 3.0 or just the iPhone Flip.
The peeps over at UnwiredView.com have uncovered the photo seen here. The patent does not give hint to even a phone, but instead a “dual-sided trackpad”. Here are the features described:
- Translucent on both end
- Touch-screen on both ends
- One side has gesture reading
The patent also said that this technology can be used for laptops and other touch-based electronics. So with all this said, your guess is as good as ours when it comes to what this patent really is for.
