Here is a laptop that does not need any introduction. While there are already many people dissing the Apple MacBook Air because of all the hardware it lacks, I think it is a great alternative for those who would like something more powerful than a UMPC but does not what something too clunky like a traditional laptop.
Here are the specs:

- Weighs 3 pounds
- 1.6 GHz or 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- 4MB on-chip shared L2 cache
- 800MHz frontside bus
- 2GB of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
- 80GB 4200-rpm Parallel ATA hard disk
- 64GB solid-state drive
- 13.3-inch glossy widescreen TFT LED backlit display
- Micro-DVI adapter to DVI, VGA, Composite, or S-Video
- Intel GMA X3100 graphics processor with 144MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared memory
- Built-in iSight camera
- Solid-state trackpad with multi-touch gesture support
- Built-in full-size keyboard with backlit
- Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/draft-n
- Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate)
- 1x USB 2.0 port (up to 480 Mbps)
- 1x audio out port

I currently use a HP laptop with tons of hardware and features, but I have it hooked up to a large external hard drive and hardly ever use it for anything intense. Therefore the MacBook would be perfect for me. Enough memory to run the system and I just need a four-port USB extender (keyboard, mouse, hard drive, 1 extra open port). Too bad this thing cost between $1800.00 USD to $3500.00 USD, and of course I would have to get the SSD one.
