Sony adds more functionality to its PSP by giving it TV capabilities. It is nice to know that they do not abandon older products. But before you get too excited, the 1seg TV Tuner adapter for the PSP will only work in Asia. Who knows, they already go through the effort of offering it, the TV tuner might make its way to the U.S.
Even for the people in Asia, however, you are still meant with more obstacles. The TV tuner will only work on the non-slim version of the PSPs, meaning the old ones. Again, they might make one for the slim PSPs in the future. Now for those who have made it this far, you will have to shell out about $60.00 USD and wait until the end of September.
