Ricoh showed off an average digital camera called the Caplio RR750. One good feature turns out to be a simple and primitive one, the ability to use AA batteries. That means there should be no worries about charging or missing shots because of low battery.
Here are the features highlighted:
- 7.16-megapixel CCD
- 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom
- Movie mode and six versatile scene modes to choose from
- Get in as close as 6cm
- 32MB internal memory and SD Card slot
- 2.5-inch color TFT-LCD monitor
- Uses standard-size AA batteries
- Fast, simple PC connectivity
The AA batteries and the easy point-and-shoot capability of the RR750 make it great for amateur or the average picture taker. There are no words on price and availability.
