Casio introduced two new cameras today that are aimed at the internet crowd, especially young adults. The EXILIM Card EX-S880 & EXILIM Zoom EX-Z77 both has built-in software to help users make better YouTube videos and eBay pictures. While that may sounds all cool, I do not think it is all that special.
Here are the features:
- Records high-quality movies in H.264 standard
- Anti Shake DSP
- Movie mode with electronic image stabilization function
- Face detection technology
- Auto-tracking AF system
- YouTube Capture Mode
- YouTube Uploader for CASIO
- Blur reduction technologies
- EXILIM Engine 2.0 image processing module
For the S880:
- 8.1 megapixels with 3x optical zoom
- 2.8-inch widescreen LCD
- 4 shot/second continuous shutter (only at 2.0 megapixel)
For the Z77:
- 7.2 megapixels with 3x optical zoom
- 2.6-inch widescreen LCD
- 5 shot/second continuous shutter (only at 2.0 megapixel)
The S880 will cost you about $300.00 USD while the Z77 will run about $230.00 USD. It should be available just before holiday season this year for all those family YouTube moments and unwanted presents eBay pictures.
