The second 12 megapixel camera announcement today belongs to Panasonic. The Lumix DMC-FX100 looks pretty nice and packs some good features too.
Here are the specs:
- 1/1.72-inch
- 12.2 megapixel CCD
- 28mm wide-angle Leica DC lens
- SDHC/SD cards support
- 3.6x optical zoom
- VE III processing
- Mega Optical Image Stabilizer
- Intelligent ISO control
- Records WVGA (848 x 480) video
Again, there is no mention of price or availability, but if this and the Casio camera are a sign, your 10 megapixel camera will be outdated very soon.
